of prey. Falcons are unerring hunters. Their
extremely rapid flight allows them great maneuverability in the air.
Falcon is a very discriminating bird, eating only what he can take in
the air. This restraint is why Falcon can be trained by humans for
hunting. Falcon medicine is invoked by unerring accuracy, success,
rapid progress and restraint.
Many Native American
Tribes believed that the falcon possessed special insight into
the workings of the Great Mystery and that they were somehow intimately
associated with human destiny.
